New WPM signing: Black Bottle Riot

It’s always nice to work with friends. Especially the ones you got drunk with when you were in your early 20′s, who played in one of your favorite blues bands when you just learned to know the genre, who played in band you put up your first shows with, who found their ways in life and especially in music, and with a big circle that spans about 10 to 15 years, come circling right back at you.

The guys in Nijmegen’s (and Hollands) finest blues / rock ‘ n roll band, Black Bottle Riot are these kind of guys. I’ve had the privilege of knowing them for quite some time now, from their previous musical endeavors to what they are doing right now. And it feels only natural that I will be handling their bookings. So without much further adue, I present to you the newest addition to the ever expanding WPM roster: Black Bottle Riot.

The band will be generally available from now on. The band loves to play your festival, bar, biker meeting, venue, and especially your barbeque! We are planning some gigs in the summer and early fall, but more news on that soon. Feel free to contact me with ideas!

Watch traumahelikopter’s Mark calling his mom and Eric Corton praising Gingerpig

When traumahelikopter played at the Where The Wild Things Are Festival a month ago Vice’ new music platform Noisey thought it would be a great idea if Mark called his mother. Watch up here how that turned out. Talkin’ about Noisey, traumahelikopter will be playing at the Noisey Launch Party at Trouw next Thursday. You can sign up here for free tickets for this event, where they will joined by acts as Raketkanon, TDTMCM and Cairo Liberation Front.

More watchable material up at Cortonville. 3FM own Eric Corton seems to be really psyched about the new record by Gingerpig. Watch him here review Hidden From View. Curious to hear this one? It’s now on Spotify as well.
